Someone Else's Shoes by Jojo Moyes

God, this book really had me emotional throughout the whole book! The characters go through such a roller coaster of experiences and emotions. I was right there with them as they went through all this. I think if you like wholesome fiction with some badass female protagonists!

My Rating: 5 out of 5 stars

Part of a series or Standalone: Standalone

Genre: Fiction

Tropes: Sisterhood, Commnication is hard, Hidden Treasure, Dealing with Mental Illness.

Things I liked: This book has all kinds of drama going on but it was also very wholesome at times. All the main characters are women who at first were crumbling under the weight they felt they had to carry alone. By the end, though, they learn to accept help and grow as people being able to support others as well.

Things I disliked: I really disliked Carl, god, what an awful person! Just the way he treats everyone around him makes me sick. There were so many times that I wanted to just write some fan fiction where something truly murderous happens to him!

Audiobook or Physical? I listened to the audiobook! Daisy Ridley's accent was so pretty and perfect for the characters in this book.

Extras: Multiple POV's mostly (Sam and Nisha's, but sometimes we get others)
