Swordheart by T.Kingfisher

Halla and Sarkis were such a fun pair to adventure with! It's wild how just trying to do something simple and completely legal turned into such a wild adventure.

My Rating: 5 out of 5 stars

Part of a series or Standalone: Part of the World of the White Rat series

Genre: Fantasy, Romance, Cozy

Tropes: Magic weapon, Fighting over money, Nosey Relatives, Respectable Widow, Can't Take You Anywhere, Love is the Answer

Things I liked: Halla was such a strong yet real character! Her struggles with her self-image were relatable while she also pushed herself to be brave!

Sarkis was such a sweet guy, I definitely would want him protecting me. He had such a complex past that I wish we got to know more about.

I love the way this author writes spicy scenes they are so realistic and romantic! As someone who is a bit older now, it's nice to see scenes I can easily see happening.

Things I disliked: I really need more details about the Weeping Lands!

Audiobook or Physical? The audiobook was really good! I loved Jesse Vilinsky's voice!

Extras: Switches between Halla's and Sarkis's POV
