The Magnificent Lives of Marjorie Post by Allison Pataki

Reading about how the 1% live was wild. It was so interesting to go through life with Marjorie as she made history and tried to find happiness along the way.

My Rating: 4 out of 5 stars

Part of a series or Standalone: Standalone

Genre: Historical Fiction, Biographical Fiction

Tropes: American Royalty, Intimidating Men, History, Showing the Research, Whole Life, War, Social and Political Turmoil

Things I liked: Marjorie had such a lavish life style it was really interesting to see how she went through her life, making waves whenever she ended up.

I loved how out of touch the heiress was. You couldn't read this book and believe that she wasn't privileged beyond anything one could imagine.

It's always interesting to read about historical events through the experiences of those who lived them.

Things I disliked: That this isn't a movie already!

This book needs pictures. The audiobook should definitely have links to pictures. I wanted to see everything they were describing as it was introduced in the story.

Audiobook or Physical? I listened to the audiobook. Barrie Kreinik was a really good choice to voice Marjorie.

Extras: Marjorie's POV
