The Good Left Undone by Adriana Trigiani

If you like historical fiction I would strongly recommend picking up this book. Theres a dual timeline as we learn the origins of this Italian family and we see as one of the members ages and teaches her children and grandchildren lessons about their past.

My Rating: 4 out of 5 stars

Part of a Series or Standalone: Standalone

Genres: Historical fiction

Tropes: Showing The Research, Forbidden Love, War, Family is Important, Dual Timeline

Things I liked: Very intense and touching. Going back in history makes a family appreciate each other more in the present.

There was a lot of history I didn't know about that I learned from this book so I enjoyed that.

Things I disliked: Not sure the dual timeline was the best move. Reading the past first then the present would have flowed better for me.

Audiobook or Physical? I listened to the audiobook and I really liked it! Carlotta Brentan, Lisa Flanagan, Edoardo Ballerini and Deepti Gupta all gave an amazing performance narrating the book!
