If you want a really compelling Nonfiction book to read you have to pick this book up. I've always really thought Cher was an interesting character, my dad always really liked her so I listened to her music a lot growing up. I'm excited for her to talk about her acting career in the next book.
My Rating: 5 out of 5 stars
Part of a Series or Standalone: Part 1 of her memoirs
Genres: Nonfiction, Memoir
Things I liked: Cher has been around SO many famous people as she was growing up and also becoming famous it was really interesting to hear about all the people she met and interacted with. Her whole life is really a roller coaster it was interesting to see how she ended up where she is now.
In the beginning she talks about her grandparents and parents life before she came into the picture and this was really an interesting section.
Cher depicts a very intimate image of her life its like we are right there with her. I honestly don't know how she can remember everything so clearly.
Things I disliked: I'm really wanting to read Part 2 already!
Audiobook or Physical? I really liked the audiobook! Cher does a good portion of the narration and takes breaks cause her dyslexia makes it hard to read so long. Stephanie J. Block takes over for these sections.
Extras: Part 2 comes out in November 2026
