A Game of Love and Betrayal by Elayna R. Gallea

If you are a fan of paranormal romance this is a really good book. The addition of a game show aspect really bring some drama to the story. I'm excited to read the rest of the series, so much is going to be happening in the second book.

My Rating: 4 out of 5 stars

Part of a Series or Standalone: #1 in the Choosing Chronicles

Genres: Romance

Tropes: Game Show, Love is Blind, Revenge, Magical Beings, Magic, Competition

Things I liked: The characters were all so strong (mostly magically) and interesting! I was really impressed by the way the characters expressed themselves.

I really like how the game show aspect of the game was executed!

Things I disliked: I do think there were pacing issues, everything basically happened at the end of the book.

Audiobook or Physical? I listened to the audiobook which was nice especially since part of the game show aspect was they didn't see each other till near the end. It felt like we were experiencing what they experienced. Having two narrators was a really good choice here too, Kale Williams and Meg Sylvan do a really good job narrating.

Extras: Switches between Brynleigh and Ryker's POV's
