I Choose Me by Jennie Garth

This book was really a very interesting read, I wasn't expecting it to involve so much self help aspects but I didn't hate it. I suppose I was expecting more of a whole life outline but it wasn't advertised as such so I shouldn't have put those expectations on this lovely book.

My Rating: 3 out of 5 stars

Part of a Series or Standalone: Standalone

Genres: Memoir, Nonfiction

Things I liked: While a lot of the book was Jennie talking about her journey through mental health healing this book gave me a space to actually evaluate my own life and growth and I'm very grateful for that.

Things I disliked: Some of the beginning of the book feels like an infomercial for the podcasts and projects shes been apart of as well as various spiritual resources and even health practitioners.

Audiobook or Physical? I am a big fan of audiobooks for memoirs or autobiographies! It just feels so intimate to have someone tell you about their own personal experiences.
