The Aeronaut's Windlass by Jim Butcher

If you really like fantasy books you will really enjoy this book. A huge cast of amazing characters, all of whom I would die for. It was a weird and wild ride when all the action started happening.

My Rating: 5 out of 5

Part of a Series or Standalone: # in Cinder Spires series

Genres: Fantasy

Tropes: Military, Royalty, Sentient Cats, Steampunk, Disgraced Captain, Stubborn Noblewoman, Mad Scientist

Things I liked: Love how warrior cats coded some of the book was, it was such a fun world building addition!

All the characters are so cool!

Things I disliked: At first I was really confused about how these spires were set up. It wasn't till about half way through I realized they were up high! I thought everything was under ground since they kept talking about the sewers and stuff just sounded subterranean.

Audiobook or Physical? The audiobook was very fun! Especially when the narrator was doing the cats voices! Euan Morton does an excellent job narrating everyone's voices and bringing the book to life.

If animals are abused, die or are killed in this book: Some characters are animals so I can't reveal anything here since that would be a huge spoiler!

Extras: Switches POV's
