Whistler by Ann Patchett

This is a really a touching story! Filled with drama, connection and love. It was really interesting to learn about these characters pasts.

My Rating: 5 out of 5 stars

Part of a Series or Standalone: Standalone

Genres: Contemporary Fiction

Tropes: Parent Child Relationships, Untold Stories Shared, Reconnecting, Sisterhood

Things I liked: Since my father recently passed away I have a weakness for Father Daughter relationship spotlights, I loved how this book really explored the subject, especially with a step parent. I really appreciate the author making Eddie gay, I was able to relax and enjoy more of the book. Lots of stories like to get very young women together with older men despite whatever relationship they have before or could have.

Things I disliked: I would have loved if the book was longer. I really liked these characters.

Audiobook or Physical? I read the audiobook which was a really good experience. The author herself reads it and does a really excellent job!

Extras: Switches POV's
