The City of Dreaming Books by Walter Moers

A high fantasy with loads of adventure as well as books. A society where books are revered is the kinda world I wanna live in. If you liked Legends and Lattes, you would like this book as well. If you have any dungeon masters as friends this is a book they will apperciate.

My Rating: 5 out of 5 stars

Part of a series or standalone: #4 book in Zomonien but can be read as a standalone.

Genre: Fantasy Fiction

Tropes: Badass Bookworm, Anti-Hero, Mad Scientist, Shout-Out

Things I liked: This book was truly an adventure worthy of any Dungeons & Dragons table. I loved learning about the world that these characters lived in and the characters themselves who were all creatures of some sort.

Things I disliked: That someone wanted to take such a paradise and turn it into a place where art doesn't exist.

Audiobook or Physical? Richard Powers does an amazing job reading. The audiobook is a work of art.

Extras: Slow Start, We get Optimus Yarnspiners point of view.
